    There is another choice other than stop whining or stop playing on-line. It's called stand up and MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE STATUS QUO...you two are welcome to keep sittin on your arses though and accept what is unacceptable to some of us ;oP

    Well, there ya have it...UB does not consider what NSXT2 is doing as 'wrong', yet advise him to be careful??? Careful of what? Perhaps careful in case UB get lots of e-mails from top $$ money players requesting them to prohibit the practice? Hmmm...I wonder if UB would still think it wasn't wrong? Just how in the heck does UB determine if ghosting or collusion took place anyway 'in their research'? UB also doesn't think misrepresentation of their advertised professionals is 'wrong' either, according to my correspondance with them. And I'm happy to learn, NSXT2, that ghosting is something you do independent of the school...I didn't get that before, although I think the school made a sound business decision not to ghost its students considering the debate about it for now.

    I hear ya DL, a tax service is a seasonal business, a CPA firm is an annual business. So you have 70 employees that work 3 months a year, then take off? Give me a break, u r full of bsh!t.

    In live play rules, can one consult a book before addressing the next hand? And dang, even if the player could find the answer to the situation in a book, live or on-line, does a player in a tournament have the TIME/UNDERSTANDING to apply that new knowledge effectively and not miss other things going on in the game which might be more vital for success? Big difference right there NSXT2 between consulting a book and a live professional who has been watching the action and can explain fast lol...wouldn't you agree?

    I don't know about other players, but when I was in a tourney, I wasn't looking up stuff in books while I was playing because I really needed to focus roflmao. I consulted books and opinions after the tournament. Then again, I usually learn best by my mistakes and forget what the heck I did right -- that is until it becomes a mistake ;oP

    ruh roh... Are we now going to bring the subject of taxes (ugh) related to poker winnings into this discussion about ghosting? Blah...One topic I don't have to worry about for the moment re: poker winnings, lol, however one of course I'm interested in~~~jest in case my future takes an unforeseen path;oP

    NSXT, the way i see it you brought this upon yourself. This all started when you were bragging about a clients win, when you said " you have been ghosted". The way i see it the website is great and legal and your coaching on the phone may be great but not legal. You have showed alot of class though by answering everyones questions and concerns.

    Why do you have to take a shot at me when I have NEVER taken a shot at you?

    I don't have a beef with you on a personal level, nor anyone else. I was speaking of the 5 or 6 threads that have been about this subject that just never seems to go away.

    Then you have to come out with a comment like this one?? Why?

    What kind of satisfaction does it give you to take a shot at me?

    I have read many posts from you on this site and have liked what you have to say on most things and respect your game and insight into poker, but this topic is just getting tired and that's all I was saying.

    If you took it as a shot towards you I am sorry, but that was not my intention at all.

    Let's just try to respect each other and talk poker, as this site was created for and I do truly hope to read more posts from you in the future on the game.

    uh...NSXT2...First of all I don't take commands from you re: 'what' nor 'where' I post here, unless you own this site too. Secondly, it's not over, other then I get that your 'ghosting' is: independent of the school; lots of players like the school; and you as a teacher --- nice to know all that.

    However, UltimateBet responded one way to you and in contradiction to jsbyun as posted here re: your ghosting players. So the question as to whether ghosting by you or ANYONE is allowed on UltimateBet has not been resolved...much to your dismay, I'm sure. And that last response from UB to you says nada addressing this issue. Like I posted before, it doesn't matter to me whether you are in this discussion or not--your choice--and I appreciate that you have responded to all these posts lol. I'm trying to find out which sites allow ghosting by you or ANYBODY and which don't at this point, as well as get the opinions of others re: ghosting in general so that I may make a judgement about it myself...that okay with you?
