What MUST you do in Vegas, when not playing poker...

    Besides playing poker all day everyday while in Vegas what else is a must do while there? Grand canyon? Excellent steak house? helicoptor tour? best hot club? obv hookers and blow.

    Any suggestions are appreciated!

    see all the big tourist attractions, bellagio fountains, etc...

    then just hit up some nice restaurants and a club or two

    Big Elvis @ Bill's. Seriously fun and great for people watching. Last time I was there he'd lost like 500 lbs but still a huge dude and did a fun show.

    If you're fat:

    Poker, buffet, hookers, blow

    If you're skinny:

    Poker, pool party, nice restaurant, bulimia, hookers, blow.

    You can shoot guns, shop for $100k+ cars and women, etc. Last year I spent a couple hours taunting Pete Rose in a sporting goods store in the Caesar's mall. Nice pools if you're into that scene. Craps is like crack, so definitely do that. Pretty much whatever interests you have can be found, with little effort, so you probably should be more specific about what you'd actually be interested in.

    Oh and Penn and Teller are some funny dudes...

    I will be going for 2 weeks in June. My list of non poker things:
    -sleep
    -run the strip in the early am (anyone think this is a bad idea? what time should i be done with my run to miss the crazy heat?)
    -hit up a couple of pools
    -6 pound burrito challenge (With all of the food challenges that get mentioned in OT I think Im gonna try to get a few of the guys that say they can eat a shit ton to come try it)
    -freemont street
    -check out the strip - bellagio fountains and all that stuff)
    -go to a pawn shop (never seen one here in wisconsin lol)
    -nascar rollercoaster
    -jumping off the stratosphere (im just under 300lbs so idk if i can do this)
    -drinking at osheas (i think this is where they have $10 beer pong tournaments)
    -possibly see a comedian or show

    depends on who ur out there with , if ur out there with ur gf , then ur gonna be limited , if ur out there with a bunch of the fellas then pretty much whatever u want to do is all good imo

    Agree with the Beatles Love. Also Circus O is unique. If I were going to do something non degenerate, it would be one of these two. But if you just spend all your time on hookers and blow, you can't go wrong either.

    for clubs i recommend Tryst or XS but only if u have a table with bottle service otherwise its wall to wall people and hard to move and for steak i recommend craftsteak(MGM), Delmonico (Venetian) however you are gonna pay out the ass here for a steak but they are worth it, but to me the best value for a classy steakhouse with awesome prime aged beef (get reeady to laugh because everyone does) is in circus-circus and is called the steakhouse it's been voted one of the top steakhouses in vegas for the last 20+ years and does not belong in that hotel, but anyway enjoy yourself man GL

    xs for the club (must get bottle service though)

    venetian/wynn/aria/hard rock for pool

    there are other things, but i cant remember them now
    but thats a good idea of things to do

    In June...before sunrise. In August...the night before.
    I just checked the forecast and 100+ high temps start this weekend. I will never forget in 2005 when the high temp was 115-117 for a week...now that was hot.

    I've been here at the Rio since yesterday ~10AM and I haven't played more than 30 minutes of poker. Drunk craps/bj was fun (and profitable), but I puked all day today. I need some trees badly. :/
