  1. Hi all,
I've just started playing poker { 2 months } but struggle to know what key notes I should take on players. At the moment all I do is make notes on how people play there aces pre-flop and after.Any advice on what else to look out for would be great.
  2. You should also make notes on players that defend/dont defend their blinds.
Do they overplay hands .ex: Top pair
Do they enter pots with weak holdings after a raise.
Do they continuation bet or play their hands aggresively after entering a pot.

Overall you want to have notes about a players "general" play to refer back to later on.
  3. THANKS FOR THE TIPS,GOING TO START PUTTING THEM INTO PRACTICE..

  4. If you see enough hands from a player, take note what it means when he is agressively betting, or when he is passive, because that is one of the most famous tells. Players often mean the opposite of what they bet, for example betting strong often means weak, and weak bets are begging for a re-raise/call since they are sitting on the nuts. This is the case for a large amount of players anyway, so take note of what strong bets mean for him. Pay attention to continuation bets and how he responds to a re-raise. Also if you see his hands, notice what hands he raises, and what hands he calls. Whether he only raises top 10 etc, or calls/ raises with 7/2 off. This defines how you deal with the player.
