Ok...math guys. 6 handed cash game.....KK vs. KK...2 consecutive hands, with same two people involved. Honest to God...happened on Bodog today!
-
100%... because it was obv rigged
-
HH? Bodog?? Did you really want to go there? Anyway, appreciate the clever, humorous response.
-
Impressive! Did the suits match too ?
Best I've had is being dealt A9 on 3 diff tables simultaneously. -
last spring my friend was dealing us heads up and i was trying to teach them some basic things. i started talking about how cool it is to get the same cards, same suits twice in a row. less than a minute later got A8 of spades twice in a row. and i had been cutting his shuffles and everything. we then played with a ouija board and burned some cats.
-
i was 3 tabling and got AA on two of the tables at the same exact time, got a pic for it too
-
The odds of predicting it advance are ridiculously high. But the odds of it actually happening are no different to the odds of any number of different combos showing up, this one just looked cooler, so you noticed it.
-
I was 4 tabling .25 NL rush and got 72 on all 4 tables... insta fold, prob why I love rush poker so much
-
There are 2 ways to look at it. #1 What is the odds of the same 2 players each getting KK on the next hand, that got it the hand before. Because the initial event already happened, and is bound to happen periodically through randomization, you want to focus on the prob. of the second hand (the repeat) because this situation wouldn't stand out to you unless the first hand had already happened. =(4/52)*(3/52)*(2/52)*(1/52) = 0.0000032% (this does not specify suits, just simply kk vs. kk)
#2 The prob of the same 2 people both getting KK on THE VERY 2 NEXT HANDS is our answer above squared. So (0.0000032)^2 = a very very small number -
i once got set over set over set what are the odds of that ?
-
0% if you both have KK ;)

On a serious note, the link below says its about 1% to flop set over set.
