What is a P5's verified account?

    Why do my user names have a green check which means "verified account." anybody know? Thanks

    it means those accounts have been verified as real accounts. P5's doesn't want people just making up names to try and scam people

    Thanks for adding this, hopefully it will solve many of the site transfer scams, etc.

    At the risk of sounding paranoid, what exactly gets done to verify an account? Just curious with all the random hacking, transfer issues, etc. I get a little nervous when I see someone has taken the liberty to dig into my accts, that's all.

    It's there because a developer of ours doesn't believe me that users get confused when we add things and don't explain them :) I'll ask him to remove it. It's a feature that's coming soon but not really there. FWIW, only you+mods+admins are seeing those check marks.

    That isn't what it means actually... which is why the programmer shouldn't have added it yet.

    awesome, thanks for the input. In these days of accounts getting hacked, etc. having your accounts "verified" without really understanding what the hell that even means isn't cool. Appreciate your help!

    yea my account says its verified, but i still cant find myself when i look under sortable rankings mod do you know why?

    You can do this by clicking the [edit] link at the top-right of your profile page here:

    http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/imbeamin/

    From there, scroll down to where it says "Additional Information" and type in your country/state/city info. You should then appear in the Sortable Rankings (don't forget to click the SAVE button after you've made the changes).
