what range do i need here to call this shove???

    im seeing alot more people open shoving ridiculous amounts of bbs and am starting to think that maybe i dont call enough of them with what i think to be marginal hands to call a shove..

    here is one example: what hands should i be calling here with?

    JJ+ AK or a whole lot wider?
    this may be a bad example since its early but im curious to the question anyways

    yeah this....you plenty of chips, no point risking 60bb's on what u hope to be a race......id prolly be calling with ATLEAST 1010+,AK...AQ im folding here most of the time w/o any reads

    im sure some1 will say this is terrible, lol

    I'll probably call a fairly standard JJ+,AK with no reads. If I feel gambooooooooly TT will get in there. And 4xing 88 there can not be very good.

    Yeah your calling range is good, if this is the 1st time that you have seen this. If the guy has over-shoved a ton of big blinds a few times, then you can call him with 9's and 10's. This is one spot where I would almost rather call with 2's than AQ because AK makes up a huge part of someone's range when they shove for this much.

    Call. If you lose big deal you have still 100BB's and if you win you have 200+BB's. WEEEEEEEE..

    You would call with 10/7 suited obv wouldnt you?
