I have been playing for about 12 months and have been profitable for the last 4 months. I am playing mainly single table SNGs ($20 or $30), some .50 $1 cash games and the odd low buy-in MTT. I am not using any software tools but feel I should be. I am guessing PokerTracker. Will this benefit me, given my current game selection, or is there anything else?
Any advice whatsoever would be much appreciated. -
pokertracker is key as well as gametime+ for overlaying stats

1. PokerTracker w/ HUD or PokerOffice (has a built-in HUD)
2. PokerStove
3. SNG Power Tools
4. Notepad
5. Minesweeper -
I have Pokertracker w/PaHUD.

PokerOffice has really upgraded their system as far as outputing correct MTT & SnGo result info. It used to be only real good for cash games(which is what I have generally only played). I have been planning to get PTracker instead becuase I am planning to get back into MTTs, but I think I will stick with PokerOffice because of these upgrades and the fact that PokerOffice is very easy to use..... I also have used notepads to keep info on random thoughs and for tips that I have read that I think are useful. When you have as many resources as poker players have nowadays( books, stategy sites like cardrunners, msg boards aka P5 and 2+2, websites like cardplayer which I really love to use by going to the mag archives and reading columns) I find that keeping notes on my notepads have really helped me. I also keep some noteworthy columns in my yahoo email under a seperate folder from regular emails.......
