  1. I would like to know anyone who has or knows some good laptops for mostly just poker and maybe browsing internet/music. Im looking to spend under 1k unless there are some really nice ones with good deals around that price.

    thanks

  2. this one.
  3. I bought an HP from Best Buy for 700ish with the 17" monitor and blu ray player.
    I think its absolutly awesome.

Has all the appropriate connections for external monitors and a good battery life.

I am sure you will hear most people say the Macbook pro, but for the money, this HP is great

Macbook Pro is over $1000. And OP only wants to play poker and listen to music so it would be a waste.

Shitty customer service aside, I've always been partial to Dell products.

  7. I'd check out www.newegg.com. It's a great site for all types of computer hardware. You can get a pretty decent laptop in your price range. They have stellar support as well.
  8. I have an HP with and external Dell monitor. Its good, 2 years old and just now kinda slowing down. I'm in the market for a desktop just for poker. I am multi tabling my laptop and screen, running itunes, and poker software with no problems. I say HP, I paid 700 at sams club.
