Are we readless here, AA? If so I fold every time unfortunately.

What can he do this with that we beat?

Flop goes check-check. He bets into us on the turn when there's a good chance that Ace hit us.
Then the monster river bet. He could have AQ or could have flopped a set and tried to get us to raise when the Ace hit...
Yeah, I curse a bunch of times and fold when I can't think of what we beat. -
this hand is really pissing me off also, i mean he could have aj very easily or wanted to check raise his flush draw on the flop and hit on free card, value river, sick
-
doesnt fuck have 4 letters...so that'd make it "A what the **** spot" ......as for the hand, reraise preflop please....and as played, i fold river...
-
You have to fold. I'd guess he has 77. Isn't that exactly how he would play 77? I would think he would lead on the flop with a Q, not wanting to give any free cards & having a flush draw out there. I would also think he would bet a flush draw. Just my opinion obv..
-
Well the flop has 2 diamonds so I can't see him checking AQ but possibly a set of 7s. Then he bets into 2 people when the ace comes off and the third diamond. He must think you have at least an ace when you check that flop rather than make a continuation bet with a pair. The best you can hope for is that he was making a smallish bet with the king of diamonds while planning to bluff the river if he misses which is unlikely after you called the turn and he still bet big on the river.
-
As played, this is a fold without strong reason to do otherwise.
I can't think of any hands with the exception of pure air that he takes this line with that you can beat, given that he is a competent player according to OPR.
I don't see him showing up with worse than two pair here hardly ever and usually would expect to see sets/flushes -
i'm thinking AQ too...somebody made a shove like that on me today and i put them on top 2.
-
This is a tough spot, it really is. Hard to know what he could have but I think almost everything he does have beats you here. I couldn't imagine your hand being good here. Do you have the results, I'm going to bet a set of 7s but he could have a lot of hands.

C-Bet?
Shove Turn? -
Shove turn....

Wow this is a really weird line to take if he has 77 or AQ.
Flop doesnt make much sense as it is 3 way and flop is kinda drawy and didnt really hit your preflop raising range that much, therefore going for a check raise is not a good plan. 77 seems more likely than AQ.
Turn makes sense for both obv.
River doesnt really make sense again, as your turn call doesnt mean that much, and then he almost full pots it. Does he really do this with a flush or boat? We only called one bet on the turn A, and didnt raise so obv not that strong, and cant really call a full pot with only a pair of aces on a 3 flush paired board. He would prob bet smaller for value since we have shown no strength.
Just doesnt seem like a bet that wants to be called, but maybe he is leveling. -
Maybe a small flush? like suited connectors although I'd would think he would bet on flop with flush draw. like 89d?
post the results already -
TOO MUCH CREDIT.

He raised pre-flop and he called on the ace turn so he must have an ace I bet big! -
FWIW--I really don't think you get to this spot on the river if you cbet the flop
-
Raising pre-flop and just calling with A on turn doesn't necessarily mean he has an A, does it? From villain's view point, couldn't it be possible for OP to have a pair like JJ or TT, that was afraid to bet the flop when Q hit. Granted, that's not the greatest line, but if taken, then one could reasonably suspect OP is trying to keep pot small with a hand that has showdown value. Isn't it also possible that SB (who is a bigger stack) called from SB with a hand like KQ, QJ, or maybe even QTs? A hand like that would surely check the flop into two people. I wouldn't expect SB to bet that A turn into the BB and original raiser, but maybe he figures it is a scare card to the other two, so he throws out a bet. OP smooth calls, so it seems like he's afraid of that A, or again, trying to keep the pot small. Board pairs on river and there is a flush out there, so maybe SB is simply trying to steal the pot here with a very scary board for someone who has not shown any strength other than a pre-flop raise. It would be much better if we had some reads on the other two.

considering ur flat on turn, ur hand isnt thaaaaaaaaaat obv, plus i see alot of guys overbet their ace when the board pairs on river and there is paint to imrprove their kicker, making them think "at worse its a chop, so ill bet big to hopefully get a fold" . . .

i wonder what Mr.Sneaky would suggest... j/k
-
Without reads that tell me otherwise, I think you need to cont bet the flop when they both check to you. Doubtful that on that flop either of them chk AQ/KQ to you. The cont bet would help you to better define their hand range earlier. Even if you dont cont bet the flop. On the turn you have the K of diamonds. I think you have to reraise. With the flop going chk-chk-chk you cant just assume one of them hit the flush? And even if they did you have the nut redraw. Those would be my suggestions about the hand. As it was played, that is a very tough river decision. Instead of you having that tough decision, put him to the tough decision earlier in the hand.

There is some amazingly bad play even at the $200 buy-in level.
