This is just my opinion tho -
Think once they hit the top or no longer have the time to climb the rankings ladder they remove their ids so they no longer feel the pressure to keep playing thr volume or maintain thier position

I think players should have the option to not be ranked anymore but their profile could still host their pseudos and winnings so we could still see their history, badges etc...

I think a number of those people because of that lawsuit probably don't want to make it trivially easy for people to get their playing names, even if within the community they tend to be known. My 2c guess -
would also imagine if some of these players are sponsored on certain sites then perhaps they shouldn't be playing on other sites, depending on their contract? and if no names appear then would be harder to trace results?

this.. on my end.. i was grinding 5-6 days a week for a few months.. now im burnt out and have no desire to grind.. and the rankings, badges, etc.. well theres no motivation for those.. i just want the monie$$$ :)

Meh, I feel like if you reach a top 10 ranking you probly have more than enough mental aptitude to not let dropping down in ranking really bother you. I feel like there has to be a more serious reason (IL Lawsuit is a good example, maybe tax evasion? etc.) Obviously don't know for sure, just guessing
