    I am so depressed knowing the US Gov. in all of its wisdom is gonna make it illegal to play online poker. Geez, i guess i will have to get a life now. Pisses me off though.

    Sucks cause i have no live casinos anywhere close by and plus i really just want to play online not live. I am guessing it will be illegal by the end of this year. God i hope not.

    I am gonna have to find about 30 hrs per week of other activities it looks like. Bummer

    yeah, the banks are on our side now as well...don't worry, banks have a lot of money (ty captain obvious) and lobby like you wouldn't believe...poker is going to be around for AT LEAST the next year with PPA and the banks fighting it.

    Paul, the outlook is good that this won't happen for a while. Some congressmen try this every year and don't even get close. This year there is more support for it than in the past, but the industry outlook is that it's not going to happen this go round.

    That said, we can help by emailing our congressmen, and joining the PPA through the link Lenny posted below.

    I think that the US will want to take a portion of the rake too in addition to all the taxes u guys pay on winnings. If the gov't gets enough money out of it they will keep it legal.
