    Obviously, I wouldn't have pushed if I knew his hand, but the 1X BB raise made me think that he was willing to let go of it and I could push him out. Also, I thought I might even be ahead.

    My question: In this type of situation, what kind of hand would you expect the raiser to have? I've been noticing people staring to raise 1X BB a lot, don't know what that is all about. I was thinking that it may be some kind of suited connector thing in the hopes of giving themselves odds for drawing.

    EDIT: I'm in another tourney now, and twice someone has raised 1X BB from EP. These are people that I haven't seen try a 1X BB raise before. Only one hand was shown down and it was QQ. I'm thinking that this could be a new trend to get action out of pairs. What have you guys been seeing?

    micro 1BB raise = gianormous monster 90% of the time. also, I'm not pushing over the top of that bet with A10s based on that knowledge. Here, AJs+ AQo+ JJ+ depending on read and blind situation.
