1. I definitely know what mine is....but what is/was/has been the biggest leak in your MTT game?

How did you go/are you going about plugging it up? Was there a methodology or practice that was particularly helpful in plugging your leak?

  2. mine is absolutely 100% lack of patience/ADD

let me know if you have a solution, I have a feeling it's the difference between me being a break-even/losing player and a winner
  3. probably shoving too light, im still trying to plug and adjust...

  6. adjusting to table dynamics and opponents stack sizes, once you realize these 2 things your game will improve by a tenfold.

  7. extracting max value out of my big hands at Final tables.. i seem to play them to overly aggressive

  8. pushing too light late in tournys

  11. assigning ranges that are too wide when i'm winning and assigning ranges that are too tight when i'm losing

  14. sometimes getting in a zone where i feel like i HAVE to win every single pot, which leads to nonstop betting and shoving till im spewed out of the tournament.

  16. Running like a one legged Special Olympian vs any idiot who mindlessly shoves chips into the pot with no business in the hand, no clue in the world and probably couldn't spell poker if I spotted them the P-O and K.

  17. What it was: Not re-stealing in the blinds.

What I did: Watched an AAAAAAAA video series on PxF and I was enlightened.

What it is now: Adjusting to other players' stack sizes.

What I am doing: Working on it.
  18. I would say my biggest leak is putting people on a hand but still calling and losing. Also probably not opening up my range wide enough later in tournies.
  19. Not being patient enough in making decisions.

Being too quick to think each hand out in the same thorough way.

EDIT: i hope you are taking notes on all these players' leaks

  20. opening AJ utg, opening AT utg+1 when around 25bbs

  21. Worrying too much about cashing in a tournament, then getting itm and having nearly no chips left to play. Try to plug this but I still like to cash and not go out withen the last 150 or so in an MTT so I still play the same way for the most part..

basically this...sometimes i get a big stack from being aggressive and i cant seem to turn it off, kind of turn in an aggro monkey and start spewing

  24. Wanting to win too much. Wearing my heart on my sleeve.

Say i lose KK to AK for a billion chips.. I ask my gf to kick me in the nuts or hit me in head with a book. After kick in the balls the beat really isnt that bad. This is particularly helpful.
  25. playing too loose in low stakes, and too tight in mid stakes
  26. 1) always assuming someone is making a move on me----solution; trying to be really aware of my current image, and the villians image so i can access the situation better.

2)letting my emotions take over----solution;trying to tell myself to stay focused, and keep my head in the game even after bad beats. Positive thinking helps too.
  27. When I play live, I can sit there and study my entire table, focus 100% of my concentration on poker, pick up tells, ect... On line, I cant focus for more than maybe an hour, then I have to start playing halo3/COD while getting butterd as fuk. Which ends up making me 3bet shove the nittiest guy at the table cuz im not paying attention to how people are playing.

Oh, and always playing underrolled. If i get a few k on an account, I cant help but play every $50+ tourney i can
  28. FWIW..Blueberleez is my best friend and my former roomate. His game has completely skyrocketed in 2009. Ex. He was won the 18.5k 50 cubed on FTP 4x this month. LIKE WOW...4x in one month. Also a couple other FTs in it.

My biggest leak is getting too fancy in spots and not giving up on pots. PATIENCE REALLY IS KEY TO MTT SUCCESS.
  29. I try to second level people in $3r
  30. going into autofold and or raise mood without thinking through things properly
