Clintonkid had raised 3 of the last 4 hands and we were 1 minute from break and blind increase. I had 13BBs behind but after next hand and blind increase I would have less than 10bbs. Would you fold and hope to find a better spot or shove now?

thx kx.. I did and he snap called a9 clubs and it held. For some reason it feels spewey to jam here. I guess its the only play. Does anyone else play it diff?

You busted me from this tourney A10>JJ in 15th, but I'd shove all day. Clintonkid went on to TID.
-
Sorry jsam.. I think I was playing a sick rush at that time and had the chips to gamble.
-
Repo man said it well, the shove coming from the big blind usually doesn't get much respect especially with your stack size facing a big stack open raise - since a case could be made to shove a very wide range and the open raiser knows that. Shoving KQ is so marginal that I dont find its a very good reshoving hand because if you get called your going to be dominated or racing, I'd rather Shove a hand like 89ss because your less likely to get called by a hand like A9, or A8.
-
Given his position, chip stack and recent activity, I would shove here. His range certainly can be wider then KQo. A double up through one of the chip leaders is what you need to make any real money.
-
Shoving can't be faulted here, imo, especially if he had been really active. Problem is if he's raising with a decent hand, he's getting too good of a price not to call your shove.
This is a tough spot tho. I don't think foldign or shoving can be criticized. Just know that if you do fold, you'll need to start getting pretty active in the next round and shoving a wiiiiiiiide range of hands when its folded to you in late position. -
Just a tough spot... Thanks for all the replies. I think that if he calls you are probably going to be dominated or a slight dog... very player dependent play I guess. I think KQ crushes his range (based on his play leading up to this hand). I could fold and hope to find a "better spot". But I always prefer to take a proactive approach and risking an early bust (instead of being forced to shove 6 bbs with 33 or some garbage like that). GL

I pretty much would snap shove there...also, youre to my left in a 4.40
