700 for me.......asl;fsafd fml. Ran full house into quads....ran trips into a full house then donkey wouldn't fold j10 on a j94ss board and i had kqss....then lost two big races
So tilted right now
do you guys use a stop loss when you play? -
i was playing full ring by the way
-
I find it pretty hard to feel sorry for your loss after looking at your recent scores...
-
hitting a massive mtt score is different than playing cash. just because you have the bankroll doesnt mean you should play 25\50
-
I think I lost ~4k when I was deep on like 3 hu tables, dunno how long the session was, probably should've stopped rebuying after the 5654651 time... think it was at 1/2 tho. Biggest swong eva.

I only tilt bc its freakin .5/1 and I can't beat it. I just try to play good poker and seem to run into sick coolers all the time in cash. I think its because I know i'm a better player than them but when all the do is nit it up skill doesn't really matter. Just hit a set and ez game. Maybe I should just c/f a lot more.
I only play games i'm +ev in so playing 2/4+ wouldn't make sense bc I'd just lose the money. Trying to work up to 2/4. Many people would be more successful if they learned good br skills. Find a game your good at then make a bunch of money...take a shot at higher games and if that doesn't work drop back down.
I set high standards for myself and 700 bucks is still 700 bucks....its even worse losing 7 buyins at .5/1 bc obviously i'm doin something wrong. So i guess I'm just tilted at my shitty play....blahhh -
i went on like a 25 bi downswing at 100nl over like a week.... that shit sucks but it happens, if 7 bi's is ur biggest downswing consider it a blessing. Also, you have a good coach
-
I've lost almost 3K in about 2 hrs playing 1/2NL and I was playing very well. Totally sucks. Just got set over setted, ran big pair into bigger pair to lose, catch bigger pair vs big pair to get sucked out on, etc. Sucked really bad.
-
good job sir on the great cashes in tourneys. the most i have lost in 100NL is 600 in about 2 hours. it sucks running into monster after monster, but it happens. now i play sng's, and crush. my limits may not be that high, but i have a massive edge over my opponents which is what you need to be successful. play sng's. if you find you don't have the edge, move down. you have obviously proven to be a successful mtt player. play low stakes sng's and move up as you see fit.... no need to be a hero.. gg sir

7 buy ins really isn't a big swing, and I don't mean in comparison to $138k or whatever it was. If you multitable, 7 buy ins can go in 3 or 4 orbits if you're really runnin in the shitter.
I found that being snap-3bet AIPF (and beaten) by J6o vs. my QQ+ tilts me so hard that I often can't stop the bleeding afterwards. When a bad player tilts you with a play like this, the good players on the table just make a feeding frenzy out your obvious anti-heater/steam session.
They set mine like crazy. They chase all their draws no matter the price. Its like when wolves sense a wounded elk or something, they just all come for you at once, and unless you sit your anti-heater out, you can run through much more than 7 buy-ins in an hour or 2 even if you KNOW your steaming and continue to play your best game. (for all you interweb newbs, anti-heater is just what it sounds like, when no matter what you play or how you play it, it doesn't hold up if someone gets to showdown with you.) Anti-heaters have the same duration as heaters, which is typically 2-5 orbits. -
i dunno. i was down like 3 buy ins after an hour of 1/2 omaha hi/lo FL today and wanted to go nuts
-
7 buy ins. Just chalk it up to a bad day Ant. Although im concerned about the two big races as in cash games there really shouldnt be "big races"
I know you work hard and put in the volume.. Watch Dauts 20 Tabling Video on CR.. Youll be ok. -
to save my reply from being just "lol" i'll share...
i played vivek a few weeks ago heads up at .5/1 for shit and giggles and he won $900 in 300 hands or so -
Don't know a lot about if this is bad or not, but I dropped 2500 in 10/20 limit in like an hour or so once. Was perty gayish.

Lol, that whole post makes me roll on the floor... "be careful when you tilt playing 100nl full ring... the good players notice this and will get you!" Hilarious. If players come after you hard when you take a few beats, it says a HELL of a lot more about you than it does them... especially since we're talking full ring. The better players in the game may recignize that since you took some beats you may be a little tilty/steaming, but if they're legitimately GOOD (and there aren't many in these games obv), they're playing 8-16 tables anyway, so it's not like they're going to look to play pots with you constantly UNLESS you are playing like an absolute idiot (raising retarded amounts, bluffing non-stop, etc) . Seriously, you truly need to work on your game/tilting problem if you let the overall crap players in small stakes games exploit the crap out of you in this way.

Anyway, Acon, hit me up on AIM and quit your bitchin imo... maybe you're just running like ass. -

Glad you got a lol out of the post tho, cuz it was meant to be funny. I don't often go into wolf/wounded elk analogies in PD being cereus, although I'll admit I've made a few tinfoilhat anti-heater posts that were 100% from the heart...
Oh and about my tilting uberleak, I'm well aware of it, and self excluded myself from all cash games about 6 months ago... -
lol @ people talkin shit about aconsuma playing under his roll. this guy is the fuckin man. fo fo tee legend.

I have lost around $1500 in two hrs playing @100nl six max, I will say around 700 of that were pretty thin spots and I was tilted...
-
Just saying he certainly has the bankroll to withstand something like that. That said, I like how OP is not arrogant enough to think he can immediately beat higher stakes cash games just because he's proven to be a very successful MTT player and doesn't mind dropping to low stakes to improve. So good luck, you should know variance can be tough sometimes, just grind it out.
