At .01/.02, hard to say. It's a pretty ugly board. In theory, if you value bet the river, you shouldn't get called by worse and should only get called by hands that have you beat. I would check behind. But since it's .01/.02, who knows, he could easily spazz with a pair of nines...in any even, checking behind is probably the safer play.

I would check behind on this board as well. You may get some value since its micro stakes with a value bet, but if he check/raises you have to give up. The 3rd heart hit, straights on the board, just too ugly I feel to value bet and any bet is most likely not causing him to fold with anything worse than what you have on the river. Any value bet is not getting any 2, any 7, or any heart to fold. If stacks were deeper, overbetting is not going to be profitable over time and on micro levels might get a call with something light like the 2.
