When did Party Poker get so cool?

    I just logged back on to party poker and really like the update that was done and don't remember seeing much about it on here. The action is a lot smoother, the format graphics are better, the table view option is sweet and the sidebet option thing is hilarious; what a degenerate addition of gambling into the game.

    How long was party down when they upgraded (and they have 70k ppl)? Just something to think about in relation to other "upgrading" sites at which i no longer will be generating thousands of dollars in rake at this month.

    For those who didn't recognize the disguise of this post this is a boycott post. It was important to this person to not just congratulate party poker but to take a parting shot.

    party had some very bad issues after the upgrade. destroyed alot of people computers

    That has been my point the whole time. I could care less if you are a homophobe.

    Just shut your mouth and move on, you know the minute you take a one outer on party you are back on whatever secretive site you were referring to.

    well, the point is now it's worth playing at. i don't know why anyone would play at a site with a lot of problems when there are better options available. (that is unless you're beanie and suddenly making amazing profits at one of the buggy sites.) online poker is a market that's getting a lot more competitive. if you can't get your act together in a timely manner then you should lose market share. this goes double for sites that do upgrades without letting you know with an official email.

    here here. Can we just agree to agree. You are a moron. I am actually saying that is indeed what people should do rather than bash any one particular site. It is the fact that you need to take a parting shot that makes you sound like a baby. Otherwise I think your post was quite relevant.

    Why not just go with the positive?

    Of course i'll go back when the site is run well and customer service is better, but right now there is no reason to be playing there. And there's no reason to give a site "a little slack" when it allows players back on to a buggy site to play. If there are problems they should be resolved before players get involved. Allowing all their players on before internal testing is complete is just a matter of greed in keeping profits flowing. Upgrading sites should also show some respect to their players by sending them notice that they'll be upgrading. If I didn't come to p5s I would've never known what was going on.
