Allyn Jaffrey Shulman has an article or two on cardplayer about it and I hope this piece from it has good merit considering I have a house in Neteller......... I've had a lot of questions regarding the situation and this is my best response...........
NETELLER is the largest independent online money transfer business in the world. It is publicly traded and operates in over 160 countries, moving billions of dollars each year. The company is not going belly up and it is not going to cheat people out of their money, as some of my readers have suggested.
However, for some it will be a great inconvenience, because NETELLER is saying it will take about six to eight weeks to get money back. Don’t shoot the messenger. -

Y'know, I read that article and felt a lot better about the situation until I saw who the author was. My only knowledge of this woman comes from watching her in the main event at Joe Hachem's table and she struck me as a buffoon. I just can't take a lot of comfort in her words.
Neteller could certainly be going belly up. If you disagree, please explain to me their business model going forward. By the way, when companies go out of business, there is generally a long list of companies and individuals that get stiffed. I'm not saying this is going to happen, but I'm not saying it won't. -
Buffoon: agreed. She really looked like a tool. A lot of people have also pointed out that her comments are basically all "rah-rah don't worry!" and just predict whatever is good for cardplayer. They want so desperately to keep the poker boom going, they can't say anything that makes it sound like it might end.

HOnestly, not for awhile. My Dad has been waiting for his Neteller card for about a week and a half. Today he called and spoke to someone, who said currently every US resident's money is frozen until they can figure out a way to get money to them. You can't use the card, a US bank wont cash their checks. She said they are working non-stop, but there is no timetable right now. I told me Dad, be grateful u only have 200$ on their, because there are people with thousands of thousands of dollars on there. Some1 posted the other day that some1 they knew had 85K stuck on there. Now that's a bad beat!

Well when everyone sees how shady the gambling bill is and why it was really pushed through and everything works out o.k, all you cynical gamblers will talk about was how you "knew" it would all be just fine in the end.

Video 3 is very entertaining and is a must see- as all are a must see tho -
Oh so the money is definitely frozen now for all US players, they can't like transfer it or use it for non-gambling Neteller merchants. (LOL @ myself for mentioning non-gambling neteller merchants. Maybe they have them where you can buy maybe a unicorn saddle or the tooth fairy's autograph)

Yea I'm that guy probably...... but I'm still getting $1000 a day from the ATM using my neteller debit card. www.neteller.com is not www.letspoker.com
