When you play online, do you play mainly the "cards", "position", "online tells, or all of the above?

    Just curious. For me, I play mainly the cards. For me, it's way to hard to read people since most people online in $20 buyins will call you with anything. That's why it's hard for me to play position too. I just stick to playing the cards, but unfortunately it doesn't get me very far once I'm in the money. Oh...and in freerolls...the donks call every single freakin thing.

    hard to say, I play the cards early on in the trny. But transition to mainly position as the trny progresses.

    your line must include all of the above... whether you play a hand or not should be deterimined by the informaition you have available. If you are using only 1/3 of the information available you are leaving chips on the table. Position and Cards are key factors, online tells can be trickier but you should be observant anyway. more so than online "tells" look for patterns in players play. Every action at the table tells you something and should go to paint the large picture. for instance, when he hits the flop he cbets everytime or doesnt. he plays suited connectors out of position... there are just so many things but I must stress "just playing the cards" is def. -EV

    i dont know about any of you other guys, but when i play i only pay attention to the online tells

    what else is there really to pay attention to?
