  1. When every river is hitting against you, when you lose every coinflip, and on the rare occasion you suck out you only see them resuck on the river, do you ever feel like you may never win another tourney in your life?

What do you do to combat this feeling (besides taking time off, obv)? Feeling like this makes me play even worse.
  2. That's when you're supposed to go jump on Mrs. Mupp.
  3. u just have to ride it out.. play ur best. tables will turn.
as long as u know u are throwing your chips with the best hand
ur unlucky streak will turn around.
    best of luck
  4. Go play mini stake PLOH and raise pot preflop every time. repeat until you start hitting hands then go back to tournies.

  5. I know the feeliong,
  6. i hate that feeling more than anything. One thing you shouldn't do, is play cash games, unless they are under your roll.
  7. you are not alone MUPP... it is sooooo frustrating, but it will turn around (please God) eventually. All you can do is play good poker, cant change how the cards fall.. blah blah you know the drill. :D gl
  8. maybe this suck resuck is what I needed. we'll see.

I dont know why but this time those comments made me LOL. it might be the purity of the timing along with no other railers to crowd it but it just worked out very well =D
  13. The only thing that works for me is taking a couple weeks off. If you try to ride it out, sometimes you start making mistakes that you dont even know you are making which can make your bad streak last even longer.

Taking a break is good because when you get back, its like riding a bike, and your back to basics. all bad habbits - gone.
  14. Seems like just a few weeks ago you were ranked #1, I can imagine it's pretty stressful to not even be in the top 200 now
  15. On one right now i dont even know what the word CASH means beings ive cashed out 3 tourneys in about 90 days, its been pretty horrible . WOn 3 100MTT is in 1month on UB and stars and now cant even get past the first hour, I must suck pretty bad

  17. I go to my nearest animal shelter and cuddle with 4 month old puppies.

    Kittens sometimes too.
  18. it would prob feel better to punch them rather than cuddling with them. but that would be mean.

  19. Is that supposed to be some kind of joke?? Punching innocent puppies?

    to quote the great whitealroker...

    "Plz die of rabbies."
  20. When Im on tilt I go watch The Wire or The Sopranos on OnDemand. Watching someone get killed will make you feel better.
  21. Buy The Godfather boxset...burn a blunt, watch movie, repeat....feeling better in no time at all...
  22. good idea also ^^^^^

referencing myself here, but it applies to your situation (especially in regard to the language of your post)
  24. i feel you man, I can't remember the last time i have run this cold for this long.
I find my self chasing now and doing the exact oppiste of what i should. I jump up in stakes to try to recover some losses and things only got worse. I decided today I am taking some time off and will start over in the new year. Best of luck to you

    Happy Holidays everyone,

    Steeler
  25. This is where discipline and confidence come in. Seal said it best many times F results. Play your A game and know you played the best way possible. The cards fall where they may. I have been very cold decked for about a month now and this has helped me more than anything. I focus on playing the right cards in the right situation and opportunities to make plays, instead of focusing on what is going to go wrong. Helps keep me from getting bent out of shape when it goes badly. I work a lot so when i finally get some downtime to play cards and the cards are sooo cold it is frustrating. By focusing on proper form, i can get back to why I enjoy poker so much, even when i am losing. It will change! Kat
