Where is Pokertrip/Reactrix??

    Every year before the World Series approaches, I make it a point to stay free and clear of poker for at least 3-4 weeks. Many have been asking me where I've been and why I've only played in a handful of online tournaments this month, so I thought I'd let everyone know my drill.

    Regardless of how I have been running, I have always felt it benefecial to completely clear my head of poker and all of the excitement/frustrations that come with the game. As I plan to play in about 15-20 events, and of course the main event (c/o Ultimate Bet), there is nothing better for my game than going in with a clear head and rested mind. For those who have not experienced playing in multiple WSOP events, consider it to be like taking 3 SAT's a day, day after day, etc., for 6 weeks. It's tough...tournaments typically last more than 12 hours / day, in addition to all of the side action and satellites. I'll probably stay more away from the satellites this year with all efforts focused on creating a collection of bracelets. I came close to winning a bracelet last year, but have all sights set on winning one or more this year.

    For those interested in tracking my play, my name is Jon Friedberg. You'll see me in most of the NL and Limit Holdem events, as well as some Stud 8/B and Omaha events. It might be another month or so of limited online playing, but I will hope to increase my P5s rankings in the greatest fashion possible...the WSOP baby!!!     You are welcome, Jon, looking forward to meeting you after you win a couple of those bracelets, as I will only be out there for the main event. Hope everything goes great in the month of June, stop by and give us all updates when you get the chance!

    No just got back from Vegas on friday spent two weeks there, can't make it over for the main events Doh!. My Dad and bro are heading over for the main events. Wish i could be there. Good luck Jon
