I am going to Vegas in a couple weeks,I am looking to play some WSOP events and also alot of the Venitian deep stack turnys and maybe some Bellagio cup turnys. From what I read "Gold Coast Casino" is really close to The Rio.Is this the place of most are staying at?Any advice would help. Also,Which casino is holding the best structured Main Event Qualifiers?

The Orleans has always done well by me and it's by the Rio. Think same owners as the gold coast. Free shuttle between the 2 at least.

If you are looking for a cheap room with a great location, I suggest the Imperial Palace. It is anything but flashy, but everytime I have stayed there the rooms have been clean and I haven't had any problems. It is right in the middle of the strip and next door is Harrah's where a free shuttle runs to the Rio. My bro and I used it last year to get over there.

I liked the stardust , when we stopped there.
But failing that the palms is ok and close to the rio.. -
I would say the Stardust is a bad choice this year.

Haven't they blown it up?
Orleans is my choice. -
I'm staying at The Orleans. Nice hotel and a shuttle to Gold Coast. It looked alot nicer than the Gold Coast. They do have a decent poker room there also as long as you don't play very high stakes. 10/20 limit is as high as it seems to get. Very reasonable rates.

IMPERIAL PALACE...AKA...IP I stayed there over spring break and is the best value you can get on the strip. Right smack in the middle of the strip with good buffets and right by Ceasars, Venetian, Bellagio and the rest. If you want really cheap try the Wild West hotel and casino about a mile off the strip. $35/night

Keep this in mind too, just because you can get a cheap deal down the strip, doesnt mean its worth it - you'll probably end up spending the difference between that hotel and a more convenient one in cabs. I've made that mistake too many times.

ur ballin, just stay at the rio, they also have satellites for events running 24 hrs a day with a bunch of different buyin amounts

My roomate stayed at the Spearmint Rhino cause he forgot where to meet us...he said the view was nice.
