I currently play on pkr and find the site to be amazing to make money, who else plays on pkr and what do you think of the site?
-
No U.S. players
-
I made an account, played for a day and quit. who cares about real avatars and "tells" you can pick up from players. oh, and getting to buy new clothes for your guy, so sweet.
-
I play on pkr some but its def not for the avatars.. players are not very good.. 2 types of players on there... nits and fish
-
Agree with deemer.

Plenty of dead money.
But its very very slow, it takes too long to play the games because of all the gimmicks. -
I hate this site and would never play no matter how fishy, the idea of combining a poker site with second life is stupid. alot of pokerstars success is because the site runs well and is fairly straight forward to use, i meen if you want to play online poker then play online poker, who cares what colour baseball cap your avatar is wearing.
Edit : betfair also has Deal or No Deal games for real money and if you sign up through p5's you can get rakeback but only for your poker playing though. -
Ah, pkr. I used to print money on that site. Little, micro money, but before they kicked out the US players my beer money was set.
-
Its a form of torture...death by a 1000 cuts.
Its ok at first, but then the novelty wears of and the slowness and idiotic noises drives you insane. -
i would only play on pkr if i wanted to one table a $1 sng at the same speed as a live game, no thank you. sick hourly rate though
-
ya def only gonna play there major on the flatscreen while grinding reg sched. they have a 250$/100k on sat. with 5k ss/20 min levels.... looks soft
-
im one of the sponsored pros on the site, its a soft site for sure, the $500/$40kgtd high roller event on a saturday(biweekly, also the aforementioned $250/100k gtd the other 2 weeks) has such value as has the $120 friday prime time.
sure it doesnt have the liquidity or tournies of the stars and ftps of this world, its not hard, get a laptop set it up ext to your 2 monitors and play pkr 1 table on lappy while multi-ing on ur pc.
it is slower than other sites but its soft enough on certain games to make it worth playing alongside your other tournies -
i guess there must be plenty of fish on there considering how much it gets advertised on TV, lol
