  1. a live pro????

I just think it sounds cool to travel around and play in live donkaments. Who wants to be the next doyle brunson and be around the live poker scene for a long time. Half my friends say they don't want to do that(other online pros). Discuss?
  2. Live pro>online pro in lifestyle imo. Just interacting with people, getting out of the house, traveling. I mean both have perks and online allows for a lot of flexibility but I'd still take live any day.
  3. With the beauty of steps you can be both. Ive found the LAPT steps to be soft, and was able to go to Costa Rica (a place I always wanted to see), meet ppl I know online and cashed in a $2500 tourney. Ive already won my seat to LAPT Uruguay and waiting for the PCA, EPT, and WPT steps if stars has them.

Only downside to live pro and traveling, is that traveling can become expensive and flying and getting stuck in airports sucks. Had a 6 hour delay in Miami when we were flying to Costa Rica...

  4. If I ever win the lottery.... I do think that would be the life though. Spend a week or two in various locations all over the world and playing poker while you are there. What more could you ask for?
  5. I agree w/ MarkFSU.
Traveling may not be "expensive" as far as $, but It is expensive on your time.
And alot of trips are only to bust on day 1 or 2, so that can be frustrating.

I think its obv what we all kind of want "in the end" out of playing MTTS if we play them with any serious level of competition.

PS: DAMN, I thought this was who wants to be xxjond student thread%#$%#$
