and that is a problem because?
-
Ghey?
-
because you ran well, and now varriance is proving how much of a fucking joke you are.
:) -
some people i no theorized that my game is actually better for 1/200 then 10/20, because well im a tourney lagtard and never saw a suited connector i didnt like. And since in 10/20 when u see a flop at 6 max is often 3 of more handed, while at 100/200 its HU most of the time and rarely do people cold call. I think this kinda of makes sense.
-
so you donked off the full 40k charder??
-
it sucks because im a student and cashed out a lot of the 1/200 winnings (like 40kish) and now i cant win at 10/20. blah. maybe i was jsut running insane at 100/200, i think thats a possibilty. blah
-
so you are saying its not possible to put the 40k back on that you had ONCE cashed out??

this analysis couldn't have been worse. try again -
Sounds like a good problem
-
Best advice... move out of MAryland....
-
how long were you "mabye just running super hot" @ 100/200 for? cause i mean...a "Winning" player @ 100/200 for more than a moth or so shouldnt you have much more money than 40k? or were you a winning player for a day
-
its not a good problem if you have 7k and can't beat 10-20.
Assuming you are playing limit what you are saying is not completely abnormal. I know of many people in your situation. -
i can tell u this , if u r playing 10/20 with 7k br u will most likely be busto soon, poor br mngmt. for nl

I'm gonna call BS.
If you are playing 100/200, then you just got lucky. Theoretically, people consistently beating this level know how to analyze their game and not make 'guesses' at what is wrong. -
certainly you are correct, though I give the kid some credit, he did win 47k playing a tough game. While my bread gets buttered at 30-60 I am profitable up to 100-200 and all the way dwn to 5-10 (I could tell you how I know this but I would have to kill you). A good player would be able to adjust at any level. I suggest playing more short handed.

Charder is talking about LHE, I watched him hit every draw he had for about a week... Sick run, He was smart enough to get thousands of dollars off the net and move down in limits.
-
Yes, but it is too profitable playing with you at 10/20 to tell you how to fix your game...
-
this post is terrible

Sounds like u were just running hot because of small sample size, but I def believe its' true that sometimes you cannot beat a lower level as well as a higher level. I'm the most marginal winner @ .05/.10 NL...and .10/.25 NL can't give me a better bb/100 than I get in NL 100 and NL 200.
I don't think you can be a losing player @ lower levels and still be a winning one @ higher levels. -
seems the suited connector type hands would have more value with three people taking a flop rather than two, just a thought, i def could be wrong.
-
i was runnin good, no doubt, but with my maniac/donkish image, they started to pay me off with nething. i remember one hand. i raise T9 on the button, SB raises, and BB Cold calls. and the flop is 9xx and the SB leads out and i just call (i usually raise there, not sure why i jsut called) well the turn is a 9, the SB leads out agian and the BB calls and i obv raise, the SB folds and the BB (who is a bracelet winner, btw) calls me down with AJ high.
Im a losing player at the short term at 10/20, 5/10 etc, and i could prolly be a winning player, im just havent played a lot, and also im not playing very good. I remember catching myself raise with T7o UTG at a 6 max game yesterday and i was like, wtf am i doing. I think thats part of the problem, im not playing as good as i can. -
Either you were on a really good run or you haven't been able to adjust to the different playing styles of your new opponents. Also, maybe you "gamble" too much now that the money isn't as big in each hand. What kind of hand count do you have at each level? Maybe you just need more practice.
