I see there is a 35k person cap on this tourny. Why cap it if they are going for the world record??? Or cap it at 100k.....just asking. Merry Christmas!!
-
prolly bc their servers can't handle more?
-
There's gonna be a 150k overlay if they keep it capped, so i'm all for that imo!!
But perhaps they'll up the cap nearer the time? Not sure, maybe they're just feeling jolly this time of year and want to give away that 150k :p -
i think the 150k overlay is the bonus that they think is gonna send them over the limit and reach the record.
-
so they can breack the record again next year. imo
-
its because they dont think their software can handle much more than that
-
They wont be upping the cap, look in tourney info and they already have the prizes announced. Its like a $135K freeroll that the microdonks can't afford. I love PS.
-
Who cares about the cap...it's going to be a huge luckfest like the other one. Why the phuck do ppl complain about huuuuuuuge overlays? That's like complaining bout having the nuts on the river...ur always gonna win in the situation yet ppl are complaining. It's not like you can't register early to get in.
-
i think some secret site that noone has heard of hit 30k ppl in a tourn. nobody heard of it... esp not any of the 30,000 ppl that entered
-
but why run a promotion that will guarantee them losing almost half their profits..they make more if it didn't fill, which it would for a 500k g for $11...i'm pretty sure they don't get anything monetary for hitting the record..
-
150k overlay doesn't really dent their 10 mil/day earnings
-
We're talking about return though.
If the Sunday million pays out $200,000 let's say.
$200,000 - $215 = $199,785 in profit.
That's a 92,923% return.
If you win this Guiness tournament for 30k and $11 entry:
$30,000 - $11 = $29,989 in profit.
That's a 272,627% return.
The numbers speak for themselves.
