why does stars...

    have a more unstable connection for me than full tilt? I mean, I can't play on stars because I constantly am disconnected, like once a minute, whereas on FTP I don't get disconnected not nearly as much. I have a really shitty ISP and a shitty internetz, but I could play on tilt just not on stars.

    anyone else have this problem? someway to fix it?

    Fork up money for better Internet would be my best advice.

    In my old flat the internet connection was shit. I don't know why, old house with old wall plugies or something but it was the other way round for me, Full Tilt kept disconnecting and pokerstars was sweet (usually). A reliable internet connection is sooooo sooooo important.

    Mike, I would contact Star's support about this. When I first moved to London, I also experienced this problem with stars, but not FTP or any other site. As usual, Stars support was very helpful and helped me with the problem. I had to modify a port setting in my ini file. Unfortunately, I no longer have the email which instructed me what to do, but this instantly cleared the problem for me. It might not just be your connection (which I would also improve if you are serious about playing online).

    Try adding some kerosene to your computin box.
