  1. I've never seen a tourney that didn't beat the guarantee by less than 50% (75% if T Soprano is playing). The only one in memory that didn't was one of the WCOOPs. Look at tonights:

    $10R - $25K - hit $34K
    $5R - $15K - hit $29.6K
    $3R - $10K - hit $22K

    Maybe when the bird flu pandemic hits, there might be an overlay.
  2. When someone sees 10k guaranteed it would be better to sign up. Its just an extra incentive.
  3. If nothing else, it tells you the 'size' of a particular tourney.

  5. But if it's always an insane amount over the guarantee. It's like guaranteeing me my dozen eggs will have at least 6 yolks.
