  1. Can someone please tell me why there has not been a big protest organized in favor of legalizing online poker. If I were a poker room I would get as many pro's and as many other poker rooms to announce a certain day that this would happen. Then I would spend money on commercials getting as many pro's to appear in these commercials telling poker players to come to Washington DC to paticipate in this protest. I would bet if they really put any effort into organizing something like this then there would be several hundred thousand poker players that would participate. It seems like all the poker rooms are just giving up or are trying to find workarounds. Why doesn't everyone stand up and fight together on this. You would think that the poker rooms themselves would be jumping to fund something like this. They are the one's that are losing or are going to lose billions. Can someone please tell me why this hasn't been done yet?????!??!?!?!?!

What is wrong with everyone. Fight for your profession or hobby.......geez!
  2. Because most poker players are passive.

  3. Because most poker players are lazy.
  4. Online poker is already legal.
  5. They don't like to get out of the house unless its the WSOP, because its -EV
  6. Wrong. Poker players just like the bitch and whine about shit instead of doing something. We'd rather just sit here and use our time to play poker instead of standing outside looking like complete douches to the rest of the U.S. population.
  7. because poker players don't rly make up enough people in the US to make a difference.
  8. because poker sites and magazines dont want to adrress the issue, like if its business as usual. They think by adrressing it people are going to realize what really is going on. HELLO
  9. well lets see. the only players that are screwed by the online poker bill is online poker players. and online poker players by defintion in WEBSTERS dictionary are "lazy"
  10. i wasnt aware online poker players were allowed out of their house

  11. I can leave my house!???!?
  12. Poker isn't illegal. The experience most of the American public has with gambling is the Indian Casinos which are very controversial in most states and then there's Las Vegas...Sin City, says it all. It's still perceived as deviant behaviour. I'm never going to fight for a hobby and there's just not enough pro's to get congress to notice.

The only way to get to a congressman/woman is if (1) it gets them re-elected or (2) there's money in it for them. Until the sites decide to donate as much cash to local communities and campaigns as the Indian Casinos, which last I checked are fine if Online takes a hit, then expect the sites to get the short end of the stick.
  13. Marching in Washington D.C. won't accomplish anything........weed smokers have marched around the USA for many years (when they get up off the couch) and weed is still illegal.......
  14. poker players wouldn't wake up early enough for a 'Million Degenerate Gambler March'
  15. my LAG style doesnt carry over to real life
  16. Can u make sure the rally is early enought so i can get home before 2pm? I would hate to miss the stars $3R
