Why is there always a big losing hand when you are about to quit?

    I'll try not to make this a bad beat story, but have you ever noticed this phenomenon?.... you are winding down your poker session... you've unchecked the "auto-post blinds" box and are on your last orbits... then it happens!!... you get a hand you have to play and lose a bunch of money.

    It always seem to happen. This time for me I had pocket aces utg and get it all-in pf against kings. Obv, a king drops and there goes my meager profit for the past two hours.

    Is there something in the software that senses when you are about to leave and then deals you a fucking train wreck?

    same thing happens at brick 'n mortar casinos. but we rarely remember all the times when we WON massive pots right before deciding to leave. only reason why you sense this as a pattern is because of the negative reaction it causes you, imo.

    Same thing has happened to me several times but I don't believe any big conspiracy is happening. If you want to avoid this, when you feel it is time to quit, don't hang around for one more orbit or a few more hands, just leave.

    if you are about to quit just quit then, I know sometime I say I'm about to quit and then 30+ minutes later I lose a big hand and then quit and be like ooooooowww I was gonna quit too. lol
