It just seems to me that since the majority of the high stakes cash game action is being contested over an omaha table the next logical step would be to start showing it on television. I.M.O now would be a great time for pokers next "most popular game" since there was something before holdem(has know idea what that was) there will be something after it.Coupled with the fact the game is so tuff to beat rite now and wont be getting any easier I think a shift is crucial to pokers future. I would just like to hear some opinion.

I thought I read somewhere that they were in fact going to show some omaha on HSP.
Personally if they havent or dont I wont be shocked. Omaha is not a good draw to a commercial audience. The game is not uber simple to the casual poker player. Also it's not the easiest game to follow....
hell when i play sometimes my money goes in the middle and i just watch which way the pot gets shipped. -
lol lol yea I guess i never considered the casual fan although I did not know that there was such a thing anymore .Do you have an opinion on what could be the next game to drive another poker boom

the average viewer probably has a hard enough time understanding the dynamics of hold em...Omaha? TOO MANY CARDS TOO MANY CARDS!!
-
not to mention too many outs...

i would like to see them do it, but dont think they will
