Level 6: Blinds 200/400
Edited By: SATindle Jul 30th, 2011 at 12:09 AM
Seat 1: SB 12000 Chips
Seat 2: BB 24000
Seat 3: 8000
Seat 4: 20000
Seat 5: 17000
Seat 6: 14000
Seat 7: 14500
Seat 8: 23000
Seat 9: ME 20000
Pre flop we have 4 limpers with small blind calling and big blind checking.
Dealt to me (Ah, Kh, Jd, 9d)
Most of the players have been staying in line except for seat 1 who is a nit and always trying to build a big pot and get it in on a draw.
flop: Qh, 10s, 3h
It checks around to seat 6 who bets pot - 3200
Seats 7/8 fold
I repop to 6000 to isolate seat 6
Then the craziness starts
Seat 1 repops all-in.
Seat 2 shoves all-in.
Seat 3 folds
seat 4 is all-in
seat 5 calls
seat 6 is all-in
I have the nut flush and broadway draws -- what would you do here with all the chips that are in the middle? (my decision below)
I shove and seats 1,2, 4 and 5, 6 and me are all-in. We have 6 people all in, I may have seen this on-line before but never live.
Seat 1 and 2 both have 2 pair Q/10
Seat 4 has a set of 3s.
seat 5 has a broadway draw with no redraw.
seat 6 has pocket aces
and me with the the nut flush and broadway draws
It was crazy, the dealer called for the floor to help her get all the side pots set up. People started running over to our table to see what was happening and then stuck around to see the post flop action. Absolute chaos.
the turn was 7h and I hit my flush and when all the bystanders started patting me on the back and telling me nice call I knew I was screwed.
The river was a 10 and seats 1/2 chopped the pot.
I may have got some of the chip counts etc. a little off, but we had 6 people all in after the flop. Never saw this before much less been involved in a hand quite as bizzare. Other than seat 1 all of these players seemed semi-solid. I should have raised pre flop, but don't know if it would have changed much other than seat 6 betting pot when it came back around to him with his aces. -
Hands like this are why you play PLO. This is an absolute no-brainer call, IMO. It's very obvious that there's a couple of sets out there, which dramatically reduce the possibility of boat draws. You've got the nut flush and nut straight draws. And you're getting a huge price on your hand.

Thank everyone at the table for the action and trying to make you chip leader. The guys playing top two and AAxx this way are the reason that poker will always be profitable. -
Your absolutely right, this is why I love omaha, every one has a draw after the flop or hit the flop some way.

Too lazy to run some simulations, but I'd think it's pretty likely that your hand has more equity than top set/anything else here multiway.
