p.s. This is with around 40? left...oh and it should be noted that I am a nit!!! =) -
I busted with 19 left when I took two pair against middle pair and an open ended str8 draw. Would have been chipleader if I would have won. I am sad.

with all the money in the pot, including antes, hes getting close to 1.7 to 1, which is less than 1/5 of his stack to call.. if he thinks your range is wide, which it probably is because you have a pretty good reshipping stack, calling here actually is pretty good, which it ended up being because it was a flip.
obviously your tight, but still, your prob a good player and he knows that you can be reshipping light.
also, his call with 78 deters people from reshipping on him in the future, and makes it more likely that people will just fold unless they have a lot of fold equity, knowing that hes willing to make calls like this.. i actually really like his call, as long as he had some read that you werent reshipping with a super tight rang -
its a retarded call, make up all the numbers you want
when you spew a lot, sometimes you run well
the ONLY reason i would even think about calling here, is to send a message to the table that i am not gonna be pushed around, even still getting it in w 15bbs pre w 8 hi isnt very good poker -
Played against the guy... also saw some very suspect plays by him.

obv a vietcong protege......luv ya TIZ

i had odds to call against any hand that didnt have me dominated (i was getting almost 2 to 1) ...ex: ak, aq any ace besides a7 or a8 or any pair 77+ and i thought your range was wider than that. plus i had plenty of chips to gamble, i still woulda been in great shape if i lost. aaaand 78 soooted is my favorite hand, sometimes ya go with the hands that run well for u, sorry for the bad beat, gg

UWO SHIP IT
-
please show me how just under 1.6 to 1 is anywhere close to 2 to 1. This is a very spewy call and just flat out bad.
-
do you guys honestly think you understand pot odds if you are making an arguement about my call? as far as the reason for the call, look above. for the pure math side of it. As long as his hand doesnt dominate mine, which im putting his range very wide, so 77+ pairs have me dominated and A7 and A8 only. all other hands im atleast 38-40% against. that being said, i need a pot equity of only 3 to 2 or 1.5 to 1 to make it a profitable call. If he were to have one card lower than 87 then i would practically be a coinflip at around 47%.... with plenty of pot equity to call. El Fin.

1.6-1 doesnt mean u have pot odds to call w 8 hi, sorry but you are wrong
-
what if his range is 86o and 76o only?
