  1. Was thinking since im not quite the calibur of average entrant, i would unregister and play a bunch of step tourneys to wccop or ept lapt etc...

anyone else think this is a good idea or do you disagree?
  2. use the T$215....dont play the crapshoot
  3. I think you'll find the average calibre of the entrants is significantly lower than what you'd expect.

That being said, i'd base my decision on whether or not i wanna buy a lottery ticket or add an extra $215 to my roll.
  4. Take the T$ & play some more satelites then if you win play the sunday million
  5. Unregister for sure. If you are not above average, it's going to catch up to you in a 5-10k player tourney.

How to make money at poker:

Play against people that you can beat by a greater margin than the rake, while using solid br mgmt, game selection, and discipline.
  6. Would you take $215 out of your pocket to play it?
  7. Thanks for the advice, this is along the lines of my initial intuitions, i figured playing the 215 tourney on a ticket is just the same as buyin in cash but it is pretty different psychologically. I feel like the first time i played it, i figured im on a freeroll and might get a lucky deep run but im definitely going to just add it to my bank andstick to games ill be comfortable in.

    Thanks again,

    Roco

  9. the fact that you post here, or that you managed to win a seat, or the fact that you are smart enough to realize that you should probabably unregister are all signs that you are in fact quite far above the average sunday million entrant.

That being said, if the $215 is significant to you or your bankroll, unregistering is the correct choice

EDIT: also, steps are going to be SIGNIFICANTLY tougher than the million. A step two without a doubt has 100x better players.

  10. If you can figure out which shoe goes on which foot you're probably well ahead of the caliber of the average Sunday Million entrant.
