    Since when is AK beating 77 and QQ a bad beat? I understand they both flopped a set and you hit runner runner for a royal. But this is a million miles from the worst beat I've ever seen.

    Actually, at this year's World Series, Good Ole Boy RED (from Portland) rivered a royal flush to take out quad aces.

    oh it gets so much worse than that. try having your opponent needing to catch 2 exact cards with no backdoor str8 or flush draws (he has two unders to top set and needs to hit runners for quads). I doubt I will see that happen to me again in this lifetime, thank god.

    happened to me on stars (go figure) about a year ago. got it all in pre with TT he had 77. flop ATx, turn 7, river 7. luckily i had him covered and still managed to come back and go pretty deep. still, it was the worst beat i've ever had, hands down.

    if all the money is in preflop the beat really cant be that bad usually...

    imo the worst bad beat is u flop quad aces and u get it allin on the flop and ur opponent catches runner runner royal

    to the OP, this is not a bad beat at all. they got it in pre. the worst beat of my life was jj on a j 2 3 board vs 99 turn 9 river 9. sickest part was it was before i ever had a score bigger then 1900 and it happened on the ft bubble of the 50-50

    Yup same thing to me only my opponent had A 10

    preflop - me AA opponent A 10
    flop comes A 10 blank
    turn - 10
    river - 10

    me Aces full of 10 opponent 4 of a kind. Happened on Full Tilt too. They should change the slogan from "Where the pros play" to "Where the miraculous happens"
