From what Kevin said he had a bit of back and forth with Hellmuth. Would any other railbird be allowed to interfere with play in that way.
Last year Phil did a similar thing at the WSOP and a buddy of mine flat lost it on him. Phil was way out of line.
Nothing will change because these shows want these guys on camera and its not like integrity is a huge part of poker but doesn't having railbirds, even high profile railbirds interfereing or influencing play wrong? -
Your right beanie, Hellmuth should just sit on the rail and cheer ( although he doesnt want anyone else to win but him and if someone else does its luck or thier terrible.) but all in all Helmuth proves to be a douche in all aspects of life.........too bad he is an awesome tourney player or else he would get beat up alot...

Beanie, i seem to remember you were cool with Mr.Hellmuth. What went wrong?
-
I am not uncool with Hellmuth. But your memory does not serve you well.
When you have a friend at the final table (Hellmuth had Matusow) you should not be trying to influence play. Berating a players play does that and I can't speak to the Kevin situation but I have seen Phil allowed to do things because of his celebrity. -
What railage are you referring to Beanie?
F Beanie. -
I recall Kevin mentioned that he got into verbal sparring with Phil Hellmuth. That struck me as odd until I realized that Matusow was at the final table. I have seen this before with Phil and I thought it was inappropriate.
