  2. fold pre, let that psycho go busto within the first few levels if he is playing retarded. No reason to play sub-premium hands against him at this level.
  3. ^^^ Agreed! Now go buy Harrington on Hold'em I & II and make a deposit.
  4. I've read Vol. 1, but it doesn't cover complete maniacs @ the table!

  5. Like most of us, I started playing a few years ago with Play Money. One of the first things I noticed was the lack of seriousness in 90% of my opponents. Playing at these levels will do very little to improve your game. If you are hesitant to deposit, I'd really focus on building your Play Money bankroll until you start playing the highest levels available. You'll notice the seriousness increase and will hopefully run into the same characteristics found at the $1-10 buy-in tournaments.

Regarding Harrington on Hold'em, Volume II is much more valuable, imo. Coincidentally, I responded to a LAG question earlier today.<A href="http://www.pocketfives.com/6860651A-AE05-4D40-AF7C-9DE611CF9F14.aspx">

    Hope that helps.
  6. Yea. Makes alot of sense. I am constantly trying to play tight early on, and shift gears when the blinds get up there, but I guess I need some psych tips, because in the back of my mind I'm thinking, "Its just a freeroll, what the hell". I know this is very wrong, as I always play to win, but I will keep your suggestions in mind. Thanks alot!

  7. Being that this is a freeroll, your villians could have ANY 2 cards. As you've sort of insinuated above, freerolls are FILLED with maniacs.

This hand in particular, fold pre if you're trying to play this like a buy-in SNG.

    ~Heck~
