I won my seat through UltimateBet and I know Imperium did also. I wish I wasn't going since the field will be much much smaller but I booked my flight and hotel already.

  6. Can't imagine it'd be a bad tourney by any means. Look at the Irish open, barely advertised, at least in the US, and still the biggest prize pool in Europe.
  7. Ya, they said a while back that this event was cancelled. Generally the sites are giving people cash for their seat instead. Gambling in France is sort of a hot button issue right now and they didnt agree to let the WPT tape the event in enough time, so the WPT said screw it, no Grand Prix de Paris this year.

I hope it comes back next year. This is the only WPT event that I really wanted to play in. Its one of the most presitgious IMO, because its really the only way you can play poker at the Aviation Club without joining.

  8. Actually, you can just walk in and play. If it's your first time you need a passport but it doesn't cost anything to play there... It's a beautiful club, one which I would highly recommend you play at if you can get there.
  9. Oh man, really? I was under the impression that it was a private club. Did that change or it never was and Im just completly nutz?

  10. You have to join to play, but I think it's just a nominal fee to join if I remember correctly.
  11. it cost nothing to join and the lower limit games are pretty juicy. i was there in december, doubtful that it's changed since then...
