Just wondering who's all going to be out there for the first few events in June.
I just changed my reservations last night from the MGM to the Rio, so now I'll be right there for all the action. I'm playing in Event 2, Event 3, and possibly Event 5.
It would be nice to get together maybe an hour before the event and shoot the breeze in person, have lunch, or whatever.
Just an idea!

I be there the same time. I'm staying across the street at the Gold Coast and hopefully I can play event 2 as well. I will be there solo Thrusday evening since my buddies don't get in till Friday Am. Hopefully we can get together as I would really like to be able to put a face with some of the names here.

i booked it yesterday.
259 for Thursday, 500 for Friday, 500 for Saturday, 189 for Sunday.
They're running a special for WSOP entrants, but that special doesn't start until 05 June, which is just stupid. So, I'll get a discount on the Sunday rate when I check out.
If you try to book it online, they'll say they're booked. But, if you call, there are plenty of rooms available.
If you are coming by yourself and want to crash at my place, you're more than welcome. We have 2 queen-sized beds and there's a large couch in each room as well. Just give me a heads up. I have 3 buddies coming with me.
We all definitely need to get together. My flight gets in at 9:30 pm Thursday night. -

thanks for the invite. that is extremely nice of you. as of now, i am going by myself, but there are a few friends that may end up coming with me depending on their bankroll by the end of this week. so if friends come, i will be sticking with my reservation. hopefully a bunch of us can get together, maybe grab some breakfast at the rio on friday AM before the start of the tourney.

We may know each other. I will be out there those dates. So I will take you up on the room, and after a dozen drinks or so, I will even let you talk me into letting you back me for the tournies. I will be the Chris Moneymaker look-a-like trying to count cards at the blackjack table. I will be wearing carpenter pants with rainbow suspenders and a t-shirt that says, "you say tomato, i say fuck you". Hope to see you there......

Truth be told, Gun is endebted to me forever. I actually got him a part as one of the munchkins in the wizard of oz remake. I will give him some credit though, its been a lifelong dream of his and he nailed it at the auditions. So big ups to the biggun. If you are looking for me though, on day 2, i will be wearing the t-shirt "poker?? i barely know her!". hope to see you all there.
