hey I plan on going to vegas early june to play wsop event 16.I've never played events up there and am wondering if it's necessary/preferable to pre-register.
Also wondering if anyone else is playing this specific event -
you dont have to pre reg...im sure like 70 p5'rs will be playing

I played last year and I would HIGHLY suggest pre-registering. Not saying you can't get in the tourny without pre-registering but the lines you'll have to wait in to register once there are HORRIFIC. Last year, my first time playing in the WSOP, I pre-reg'd and I waited in line for maybe 15 minutes just to show my ID and get my seat card.

Those waiting in line to register there, were waiting in lines of up to 2 hours which can be a pain in the ass! Pre-reg if you can, if not you'll still get in, just have to wait a lot longer to do so. Hope this helps. Good luck -
you certainly don't have to pre-register to avoid the lines...you just can't register 10 minutes before the tourney starts. get there a few hours early or register the night before and you'll be fine
