    Wondering what % of top 100 online players are playing the 25k 6max WSOP next week

    Do you mean top 100 players in terms of skill or top 100 in terms of p5s rankings? The two are drastically different obv.

    I would def take the under on 20 ranked players in this event.

    A better line would be 15, i think.

    IM playing it and Im terribad. I'm pretty much dead money in all teh <15k Tournies. Ask around, you'll get teh same consensus from any tourney pro.

    Agree, or even 10. But for top 100 players based on skill, I'd say something like 90/100.

    pretty sure jpapola ships this event also

    just absurd that he gets like 2nd at 4am....sleeps(im guessing) then reg's for the 5k 6max....grinds it out n ships it.

    Frank I guess I was referring to the P5 top 100 and I definitely do understand the difference, but I am kind of confused on the reasoning for a 25k event ,I mean last year with the 40K NLHE anniversary tournament I understand the reasoning behind that crazy buy in, but wouldn't a 10K 6 max championship make more sense, so my question is why a 25k buy in ?

    People like playing in a high roller type NLH tournament. They are becoming increasingly popular at circuit stops around the world, and given the success the 40k had (200+ runners is amazing for a $40k buyin!) they decided to do a 25k this year. It will be a fun event for people to rail since so many "big name" players will be playing it. And it will also be fun for the players, because 6max live tournies are awesome.

    The only nl 10k at the series is the main that's why this 6max isn't a 10k I think 25k is the right amt

    makes sense frank and chicago anyway should be a pretty exciting tournament

    It does sound like a redic buy in but with all the backing, swaping of %s, selling of shares, it really isnt going to set anyone back or ahead a ton. There may obv be a few exceptions
