  1. This hand has bugged me for almost two weeks.

I am in the BB with about 4000 in chips blinds are at 100/200 and I am at a wild and crazy table.
EP min raises to 400 and the whole table calls.
I look down at Q3os, chuckle to myself, and fold.
Flop comes 333 and the table goes nuts with three all ins and a big stack over shove.
The pot ended up being well over 18000 (not counting what I would have put in) and I missed it.

My question is did I have any reason at all to be in the hand? The pot was huge and I know min raisers are just asking to get sucked out on. Should I have seen the flop being priced in with all those callers? Did I have any kind of odds?
  2. Hand value vs. Pot Value:

If you are sitting in the BB (in a NL game) with 200 chips already in the middle, you 100% make this call pre-flop to try and strike lightning. In a limit game, I would advise against this, but since it is NL, you know you are getting paid off if you smash the flop.

Remember odds when you think about hands...Q-3os is definitely in the range here since you are getting 8 to 1 on your money. If someone wants to min-raise, they are asking for it. It was probably a noob with A-A just trying to get callers not realizing that there are consequences for the min-raise!
  3. What were the odds on your $200 investment, around 18 to 1? with no one else behind you I think you have to call with those numbers.
  4. Thanks,

I knew I screwed up. After that hand I swore I would not fold to a min raise/multi limped pot again. A few levels later at a different table I had a BB 44 in almost the same situation and picked up a huge pot with a set vs KK.

Why do they min raise in the first place? It makes no sense to me.
