WSOP final table prep

    well, it's about a week until final table time for the wsop main event. all the eps have aired on tv already. as expected, i looked like a total fool. understandable, since i sure played like one. but that's not important.

    i have a request for the p5 community. i need help. do you have a lot of free time, and feel like helping a sucker like me win the main event? here's how.

    first - watch the videos available of me (wpt season 6 LA poker classic, wsop main event day 7) and tell me if you spot any tells, patterns, etc.
    Even better if you've ever actually played with me live and remember any glaring weaknesses (other than my general bad play). though from the posts on p5's i guess if you've ever played with me, you think i'm an arrogant prick. so i'm probably outta luck there, lol.

    second - do the same for my opponents. watch any eps available showing them (wsop main event, chinos other wsop final table, ivan at wsope main event, which i haven't been able to watch but am told is out there) and try to spot tells. if you've played with them live, what did you think of them?

    then pm me with your finds.

    might be useful, might not. either way, a good way to waste some time this week, since i don't have much else to do.

    who knows, you might even influence who wins the world series of poker :)

    Seriously, this must be a joke! With 4 months to prepare .... and all the possible resources you could have accessed you get on here at the last moment. The result is you are going to get inundated with useless crap. You are reading this forum and seeing opinons that for the most part are critical of your play.

    It is going to be like trying to quench your thirst by drinking from a fire hydrant, lots of volume but very little satisfaction.

    The result is you are going to go into the final table with kore questions about your ability than answers that you can use, this combined with your ADD that you mentioned on TV can be devastating.

    My advice....( as if you need anymore) ....stop reading this forum for a week ..... get with a trusted professional / friend and put together a simple but actionable strategy ( don't complicate things this late in the game) for your stack versus the players remaining. Seek to start TAG and rely on cards versus player reads, seek to advance and get looser as table contracts.

    By the way when Phillips scrunches his face post flop and looks like he smells a fart..... he has a monster hand!

    Anyway good luck, wish like hell I was in your position.

    LOL man. You are guaranteed $900k with a shot at $9mil and you want the community to break down your game for you? why didnt you seek the help of a top player 2 months ago for 20% of your winnings or so and bust ass watching tape, HH's and opponents play this whole time?

    I dont rly have anything productive to say, but I just wanna wish u the best of luck, and I hope u take it down. I've only met u a couple of times, but u seem to be a really nice guy with a great personlity, and regardless of ur play (which i cant comment about because I havent seen any of it) and what happens, I think it would be a good thing for poker if u won. So just run good like u have been and you'll be fine! :)

    Good play and God speed sir! I would focus your tell search on the players to your immediate right and left for obv reasons. As long as you are in it you may as well win it!

    Umm, well ok. Do you play golf? Golfers have a routine before they take each shot. It's the exact same routine everytime. Develop a physical routine each time you play a hand. Hand movements, eye movements (sunglasses eliminate this), posture, etc.

    good luck man but i have to say im shocked that you didnt watch the wsope live, try to do that if you still can, seems like you could learn a lot about demidov, who seems like your toughest comp.

    Avoid reshoving A4 over a calling station post flop w/ no pair/no draw and no fold equity while giving better than 5.5-1 odds...you probably won't get there again. Other than that good luck and play your game. It got you this far. I watched a couple hours of the WSOPE final table and Demidov seemed to play really solid, especially short. You should probably avoid getting mixed up with him w/ marginal hands.
