  1. First and only HH i will post of the year.

    32k starting vs 70k stack

3 folds and a raise to 800, I was next to act and made it 2200 with AK, flat call and K K 9 rainbow board. He checks I make it 800 (wanting a raise with the 2nd nuts) and he makes it 2200 and i flat. Turn in a Q(complete rainbow board). He checks and I make it 7k and he calls. River is a Jack and he shoves the 9 K K Q J board. My KA looks so bad right here that i take 2 minutes to figure out what he raised pre with and might of had. I only really beat aces and tie AK and lost to anything else. I finally fold with around 17k left i think and the guy told me at the end of the night that he had AK as well.

Bad fold or am i folding in this scenario most of the time?

  2. flop bet of 800 into 5k, with the 3rd nuts btw...

Y would you flat his raise and not just 3 bet here. Seems like a great spot to get your chips in.

Q turn isnt the greatest card for you and you lead for 7k?? Flop bet of 800 into 5k then a turn bet of 7k into 10k. What are you trying to rep?

River is possibly the worst card to see.

Seems like a terrible line and a very badly played hand. 3 bet the flop get in in after he ships and chop if he really had AK, if he flips over K9 or 99 oh well but Im not getting myself into a situation like this with such a strong hand. He obv wants to play a big pot and his raise on the flop should have told you that.
