    this is gonna be my first year playing a few wsop events and was wondering how you go about registering and can you register on the day of the event. I plan on going from the 28th of may -june 1st of may at first and i called the rio and they say that they don't have a room available on the 30th so im wondering if anyone has any ideas on another place to stay thats close by

    If you want close by and dont care about luxury then you 100% need to stay at Gold Coast....it is within walking distance to the Rio. If want something nicer and close then I suggest The Palms which is directly across the street from The Rio and once again within walking distance.

    I'm staying at the GC - like $340 for a week or something like that - have read some reviews and it's basically a solid/clean place - not luxurious by any stretch but a good home base.

    Appreciate the info, i looked at gold coast and it seems like a nice place that will be fine. Now looking for info on flights from tampa-vegas

    So don't eat the buffet or do eat the buffet? I heard good things about it. What is your opinion of the steak place they have there? (Cortez or something)

    I am also staying at the GC from May 27 til June 6. Pm me if you want to grab some drinks or tackle the buffet.
