WSOP vs. WPT why?

    what was the determining factor to chose one over the other by some big name pros? was the WPT this week just full of WSOP (ME) bust outs? i really do not understand why both of these tournements were run during the same week.

    WPT event started after all WSOP Day 1s (and I believe Day 2) concluded. Therefore, yeah, pretty much the WPT is made up of bustouts from Day 1 and 2. Obviously some people I am sure planned on playing the WPT only. Alot of professional blogs hint to the possibilty of playing the WPT if they bust early from the ME.
