I didn't OPR the guy until after the hand, I think I would have leaned towards calling if i did. He is shoving 30+ BBs on the river though, sigh, what would you guys do?

  2. fold. he limped UTG he could very easily have KQ KJ or even K7 if his opr is that bad. you've still got 30bb left. He could have limped AT too.

Doubt he would be smart enough to know in a $4 that KT or worse is a chop.

  3. looks like a fold mark
  4. He has to have a K4 beat here. Players in these $4 games don't reraise here without a better hand.

  5. You really can't beat anything but a bluff. If he called the turn with a combo draw (what I think is most likely), he made his flush. Or he already made his hand on the turn, and you're screwed. You'd be calling & praying for the chop with the few choppable hands.

This is a fold...and I think it's important to know this before betting the river in the first place.

  6. cant really beat much so its a fold
  7. fold...sadly trips is rarely best on a board like that, not to mention you have a terrible kicker

  8. I did end up folding, I figured I was behind most of his range here, if not almost all. I'm glad I folded though, a few weeks ago I probably would have insta-called which was probably the biggest leak of my game, not taking time on my decisions. It feels nice to finally be capable of slowing down and making smart decisions in marginal spots like these, and its definitely due in large part to this forum and a friend who is also part of this forum. Thanks everyone for the advice.
