  1. Good point! Now im really confused as to whats going on with these assclowns!
  2. if you are still on it is ok, once you log out and try logging in it will update your software Closeing your account
  3. I got the same email about acct closed, then another e-mail from UB verifying I'm in the pocket5"s freeroll. Am very steamed at the shoddy treatment. Looks to me they did this to prevent people who have UB acct from also having one @ pokershare. So, they migrate my freeroll registration to UB. Not going to say how I feel about UB now, cause I don't want to type all those cuss words. peace out Kat
  4. ok i just cahsed out all my funds phew!
  5. well this is shit.
  6. pretty bizzare, since they know the majority of people know how to withdraw from the site. Why not stop our ability to play but allow us to transfer to neteller?

Ill conceived and poorly executed-shows you these sites make too much money and don't follow proper and basic business regulation. There should have been a legal opinion by international attorneys prior to this site ever was started-very basic and common stuff for large business.
  7. I am sorry and maybe somebody can fill me in. I am not a member of pokershare...But I am at a loss trying to figure out why people are Bitching about UB as if this is there fault? If pokershare is the one who shut down and is making it difficult to get your money out of your account..How is that UB's fault???? Can someone please explain this to me???? Seems to me the blame needs to go elsewhere..and it ain't UB this time!!!
  8. I could be wrong, but I thought I read that Howard & Co. only own the software company that created FullTilt's software. So they technically don't own a gambling operation. But I'm sure they've arranged it so that they get...well compensated.
  9. my guess is we will all be getting the same rakeback amount 000000000!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Yep. I had a bad feeling about Pokershare from day one; it just had a bad smell about it all along - how it just suddenly popped up over night, the wierd restrictions on not transferring money, how you were still actually playing the same site ,etc etc. - it just never made any sense to me that a site (UB) would do this, knowing that if it worked as promised, no one would continue on UB. I opened an account but never put any money in it.

And if they were going to shutdown like this, why not warn everyone first so they could opt to withdraw instead of just suddenly locking up everyone's money? (it will be interesting to see how long it takes for those checks to come through)

It was pushed pretty hard too *cough*P5*cough* - did anyone first hear of Pokershare somewhere other than P5? I never heard a whisper of it until it was posted here.

Somebody's got some 'splainin' to do .......

    Hope everyone gets their money.
  11. Why not just change your addresses on your accounts, you will still get it sent to your neteller or firepay.
  12. Any chance of us getting "grandfathered" into the TEC freeroll via UB w/ our screename there????

  13. i agree with SQ. i don't understand how UB has anything to do with this. i actually prefer UB to any other site.

    d50
  14. we have no accounts
  15. Im guessing they are not going to be reopening the accounts no matter what happens....i sent a n email requesting all funds and points be transferred to my UB account...wonder if they will or not
  16. pokershare was also listed by sites like bonuswhores, pokerlistings, and a few others. not just p5s.

  17. One Road,

I don't appreciate the implications in your email.

Also, PokerShare is not a scam. It is a skin of UltimateBet. The site still exists, but cannot have North American users.

  18. Okay - then please except my apologies.

For everyone else: I did not mean to imply that Pocketfives was in any way knowingly misleading in any shape form or fashion regarding Pokershare; obviously Cal and P5 had no idea this was coming, however:

It seems you had access to a great deal of information regarding the launch, but not so much regarding the demise. To say "the site still exists, but cannot have North American users" (as of about, what, ten minutes ago) is very much the same as saying "the site does not exist except for our extensive European membership".

To quote your own post: "Oh my God".

I didn't say it was a scam. I said - in a roundabout way - that it was launced with a lot of confusion (and hype), which made me wary. I still don't think it was a scam - I think it was an ill-concieved idea very poorly executed.

In fact, I'm sure you are feeling very much dismayed by this turn of events, so again, I apologize.
  19. Thanks for the apology, and I'm dying for an explanation myself.

  20. So even though I know pocket fives isnt to blame..since the only reason I signed up was due to the enthusiastic endorsement offered through this site...maybe we could all get P5 hats lol....cant blame a guy for tryin
  21. We had no info that this was coming. We were as shocked when we got the emails as you were.

Please give us a little time to figure this out and we will relay everything we learn.

  22. I didnt get the email but they still shut down my account..DONKEYS!! I blame UB!!
  23. I have a feeling I won't be on the hat list.

Seriously: I was way off base with my previous remarks. You guys are great, this site is great and I've gained a lot from it.

You did jump on the bandwagon, but I'm sure with the best of intentions. I'm guessing you'd like a few private moments with Max in a dark alley right now.

Sorry Cal, sometimes my fingers move faster than my brain, and I'm sure no one will do more to make sure this all comes out right for P5rs.

I just hope we don't have to chisel "the check's in the mail" in stone right up there with "so I went all-in to see where I was at" -
  24. Now I know why my fullhouse got beat by river quads today on Pokershare! Freakin conspiracy to break me by their bots!

If anyone takes me seriously, please leave now...
  25. Aribitrary = mahatma.... lol I wonder how long it took everyone to figure that one out.. If people didnt think this 3 weeks ago now they all know!
  26. I have been sending and recieving emails from pokershare all day long. And here is what I have found out for people that are still wondering on a few things. They are going to send checks via FedEx who had more then $500 in there accounts. The smaller balances are getting mailed regular mail. They said that checks via FedEx will take a max of 4 days to recieve. They sent an email to me saying this.... Your cash has been sent to your address on record as part of the final withdrawal. Amounts in excess of $500 have been sent via FedEx and here is the check information: 06:37:48 PM EST 11/01/2005 Cash Out-Check $--,---.13 Thanks for your understanding in this matter. So at least the account information that they sent was accurate as to what i should be getting back and they confirmed that it will be shipped to my current address so now its just a waiting game. I guess we will see wether its a big scam or not in 3-4 business days!!
  27. With the great site that Cal Adam and Riley have put together here..I would certainly recommend they withhold recommendations on using UB in the future until UB at least "somewhat" show some kind of ability to run a poker site a little better.

Forgetting about the problems this site seems to have every day of the week, You have to worry about a site who puts together a weirdo deal to increase business at the expense of business they already had (I mean--what halfway intelligent business people cannibalize their business in this way).

Then--without notice shut it all down in a goofy--bumbling---stumbling way
