First to act i shove all in,Seat 3 calls my all in with 7

. The turn is Q
and the river is 6
.
I win the pot but i want to know was that the rite play or should i'd had played it another way?
And how would u played it if it were you?

well only way you get called here is if a guy has quads so... your play is either win it all or go home i guess. I like playing it a bit more slow and only betting pot on every street. Not a horrible play i guess.
-
I would guess pkt QQ calls also,or someone who took a flyer w/AT(or KT or QT or JT,lol.this is a $10 sng). This early in sng most of my opening raises are 4-5x bb,so I like yours here. The all in on the flop is a bit aggressive for me, I prob bet 300-pot and try to get it in on the turn, absent any reads....

i like the raise coming in, but shoving the flop is definitely an overbet - you should make it more like the size of the pot. that being said you should feel lucky that the guy with 77 stacked off in this spot, because 4 out of 5 times when you shove here you are ONLY getting called by a hand that has you beat.
-
Well, obviously, you aren't getting called just by something beating you, since 77 smelled bluff and went for it.
The preflop raise is fine. Remember, you wanted a caller here, you got 2, which is ok also. You have to hate the flop, but you still are likely ahead.
First to act, I don't like the push. You want to ensure the Queen is paying you off here. You shove, and it might scare a good hand away. I think you should just make a standard raise (the same sort you would have had the flop been Q107rainbow. If someone pushes, I think you have to call, since a straight draw or a Queen (and maybe even a JJ or something like that, along with KK) are going to do this, not just the 10. If you run into the 10, well, nothing you can do, just got a horrible flop. -
Never just push in and hoping they missed. You have enough chips to easily fold if you sense you are beat. You didnt even play any poker here. You have to see how they react and try and put them on a hand. A shove is a losing play here. The reason is:
YOU ONLY GET CALLED WHEN YOU ARE BEAT.
You will win and collect the 240 they put in the pot a good number of times.
You will get called only when you are neededing to hit a 2 outer for 1480 chips.
Does that make sense to do? -
if u knew u were definately getting a call from this player then why not shove. At this point with early blinds you could not 100% ID him as a complete donk. Your shove, was due to fear of the 10s. You can check call through if u think u are beat but cant get away from your AA in a 10$ sng. Expected value, and math would not agree with the shove. You are essentially risking about 1300(what you have left after preflop play) to win 500 chips. With this hand, the outcome seemed inevitable, so the shove was just a means to the end. In future hands this play will lead to bad habbits, cause it seemed like you were scared of the 10s, but accepted it anyway. for example AK shoves after missing the flop, and JJ or QQ shoves with an A or K on board

Good preflop raise...
