    I think I check behind. Against certain players you could value bet, but with no reads I'm more inclined towards a check. There's just nothing he will call with that you have beat unless he convinces himself you're capable of 3 barreling with nothing. With that line of his he doesn't have you beat very often, but still you just won't get more chips from him enough times when you're ahead.

    SCT can you please explain why you would never check behind here? I have no idea what i would do in this situation so the more insight the better.... I will take a punt and say that due to the check check on the turn he has to value bet the river if he has the straight or flush... so when he doesn't your 9s have to be good? And 3king can you explain why your value betting this spot? Sorry to be a pain just trying to see where you guys are coming from.

    I'm guessing the reason behind this is the range of hands you put him on doesn't include any flushes or straights and only lower hands than a set of 9s?

    Im just value betting because I think there are more hands we beat that will call then hands we are beat by. He feel like he rarely plays a flush like this because I think he check raises then turn the majority of the time. As for the straight the check call check call check line is just soooooo outrageous. He occasionally turns up with an 8 here if he is a bad player but we still beat 4 potential sets, some overpairs and maybe a crazy 2 pair hand or two.

    this but an extension is that is is a pretty std bet/fold situation. Hes never check shoving anything u beat but he can flat lots of stuff u beat
